Teamserver 2:8 switch expandable to 4:64 with OSD
The TeamServer & TeamServerPLUS provide a modular approach to KVM switching, allowing simultaneous access to multiple computers. Using a combination of TeamServer & TeamServerPLUS units it is possible to support any mix from 1 user and 1 computer to 4 users and 64 computers.
A single TeamServer unit is designed to control up to eight PS/2 computers from two keyboards, monitors and mice in a fully functional matrix fashion without any blocking. Any user can access any computer at any time provided it is not in use with another user.
Its 1U, 19" rack mount size makes it ideal for situations where rack space is limited, but where more than one user is in charge of managing a multicomputer environment.
Control of the switch is by a fully featured On-Screen-Display menu system, which offers the following features:-
Administrator access rights for switch settings
Naming of the individual computers
Access rights for each user
Password security locking of the individual consoles
Autonomous Scan of the computers, (sequentially switch to next computer at a predefined rate)
Selected computer's name may be permanently displayed on the screen
Reset of the internal processors (configuration settings retained)
Reset of the Mouse driver settings
The whole unit and the user's keyboard, monitor and mouse may be hot-plugged without the need to power down any of the attached computers.
The internal microprocessors provide comprehensive keyboard and mouse emulation which ensures compatibility with all operating systems and drivers and allow different equipment to be used at each user console without the need to reconfigure the computers.
The TeamServer may be stacked with other TeamServer and TeamServerPLUS units without occupying any of the 8 computer ports to provide a fully non-blocking matrix system of up to 64 computers and 4 user consoles. Stacking is by a plug together system using either QTSX or QTSP interconnection modules.
