Duette 2 Port desktop KVM switch with Audio
The SwitchCom Duette is designed to control up to two PS/2 computers from a single keyboard, monitor and mouse. Backed with many years of production and enhancements the Duette gives reliable operation under all operating environments.
Switching between the computers may be done in three ways, by a simple Hot-Key sequence on the keyboard, touching the keyboard mountable touch switch (optional Part number QTTD2) or pressing the front panel switch. Lights on both the front panel and the touch switch report the selected computer.
The unit draws its power from the keyboard lines of the attached computers and therefore no external power supply is required. It does not require both computers to be on and can be fully powered by any single computer.
The unit and the user’s keyboard, monitor and mouse may be hot-plugged without the need to power down any of the attached computers. Connection to each computer is by a set of KVM cables that lock into place on the unit to prevent accidental removal.
The internal microprocessor provides comprehensive keyboard and mouse emulation which ensures compatibility with all operating systems.
